Meet VP Alan Douglas
Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management
Alan Douglas is the Corporate Vice President of Operations for Innovative Renal Care, providing the company with corporate and healthcare operational leadership.
Prior to joining IRC, Alan served in an operational role at LifePoint Health as the Regional Vice President of the Central Division, Physician Services from June 2015 until October 2020. Before that, he served in various senior leadership roles as Chief Revenue Officer for Cogent HMG/Sound Physicians (hospitalist and intensivist management companies), as Vice President of Revenue Cycle for Renal Advantage/Fresenius Medical Care (dialysis operators), as Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations for HealthSouth/Surgical Care Affiliates (inpatient and outpatient rehab, ambulatory surgery centers and diagnostic centers), as a Manager in Internal Audit with HCA (national hospital operator), and started his career as a Director for Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care Centers with Corporate Health Institute/Baptist Hospital Affiliates in Nashville.
Alan has an MBA from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tennessee Technological University. He is an inactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an inactive Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
