JACKSON, California, Sept. 25, 2024 \u2014<\/strong>Those living in Jackson and surrounding Amador County communities needing outpatient dialysis care now have an option closer to home. Sutter Health<\/a> and Innovative Renal Care<\/a> are officially welcoming patients to their new dialysis center at 12030 Industry Blvd. in Jackson.<\/p>\n

The Innovative Renal Care Jackson Dialysis Center offers local dialysis services for individuals with kidney disease, including in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis for those with end-stage renal disease. Community nephrologist Adarsh Bhat, M.D. from Summit Nephrology serves as the center\u2019s medical director.<\/p>\n

The new center provides greater convenience for patients, as previous dialysis locations required considerable travel. Sutter Health and Innovative Renal Care estimated more than 100 Amador County residents with outpatient dialysis needs travel outside the area for care. And with an aging population\u2014the median age in Amador County is 50\u2014that demand for outpatient dialysis could only increase.<\/p>\n

\u201cSutter Health is committed to being part of the solution when it comes to increasing access to care for patients,\u201d said Michael Cureton, CEO of Sutter Amador Hospital. \u201cHaving an option for this specialized level of care within the community will support an overall better patient experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Twelve in-center stations along with options for peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis offer patients flexibility to choose the type of treatment that best fits their lifestyle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Innovative Renal Care Jackson Dialysis Center is collaborating with the Amador County Chamber of Commerce to plan a grand opening celebration this fall.<\/p>\n
