Through a strategic effort with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/innovativerenal.com\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Innovative Renal Care<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, Sutter Health is making it easier for patients to receive the treatment they need\u2014right where they need it.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Previously, many hospitalized patients requiring dialysis had to be transferred to facilities in Sacramento, more than an hour away. With this new unit now operational, patients can remain close to home, supported by family and community, while receiving vital care.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cDialysis services inside the hospital help patients receive high-quality care from local care teams they know and trust, with the added benefit of families, friends and other support systems remaining close by,\u201d said Sutter Amador Hospital CEO Michael Cureton. \u201cThis new service expansion is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to broadening access, enhancing the overall care experience and meeting the needs of our community.\u201d\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The new dialysis unit at Sutter Amador Hospital is the sixth in-hospital collaboration between Sutter Health and Innovative Renal Care.
