JACKSON, California, Sept. 25, 2024 —Those living in Jackson and surrounding Amador County communities needing outpatient dialysis care now have an option closer to home. Sutter Health and Innovative Renal Care are officially welcoming patients to their new dialysis center at 12030 Industry Blvd. in Jackson.
The Innovative Renal Care Jackson Dialysis Center offers local dialysis services for individuals with kidney disease, including in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis for those with end-stage renal disease. Community nephrologist Adarsh Bhat, M.D. from Summit Nephrology serves as the center’s medical director.
The new center provides greater convenience for patients, as previous dialysis locations required considerable travel. Sutter Health and Innovative Renal Care estimated more than 100 Amador County residents with outpatient dialysis needs travel outside the area for care. And with an aging population—the median age in Amador County is 50—that demand for outpatient dialysis could only increase.
