Meet Nick Mendez, CEO

A veteran healthcare and medical device industry executive, Nick Mendez brings an entrepreneurial orientation and purpose-driven focus propelling enterprise value, earnings, and client base. Building on 30 years of experience within the healthcare and medical industry landscape, he understands how to shape, direct and grow innovative businesses in highly competitive markets.
Mendez has an extensive track record of building intrinsic value through opportunity, purpose, and leadership on a global level. Before joining IRC, Mendez was CEO of OrthoNOW, the nation’s only orthopedic care franchise. He has served as President and CEO of Enovate Medical, a manufacturer of IT equipment for the healthcare industry. He also served in leadership roles for Gambro AB, now part of Baxter, including President of both Gambro Americas and Gambro Global Acute Business, leading the efforts as Vice President–OM Specialties of Owens & Minor, a Richmond, Virginia-based healthcare logistics company.
Nick is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder. He has completed graduate-level programs at both the Darden School at the University of Virginia and the IMD Business School where he studied international business.
