April 14-17, 2024, the Caribe Royale in Orlando, FL hosted a hub of knowledge exchange and collaboration during the annual symposium of the American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA). For our Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Sara Brady, the symposium was an opportunity to connect with peers and gain fresh perspectives on delivering exceptional care to patients with kidney disease.
IRC attendance and participation in the annual symposium is important because it connects nephrology nurses from across the country and provides a great environment to learn and interact with colleagues on how we can continue to make a difference in the lives of our patients. The annual event also allows IRC to engage with attendees and share more about who we are and our commitment to providing more tomorrows for our patients, their families and friends.
The annual symposium was packed with educational sessions and networking opportunities. CNO Sara Brady especially valued the ANNA CNO Roundtable session where she provided feedback and heard other insights on how we can collectively bring more students into this specialty field and help them find their long-term career as nephrology nurses.
At IRC, we know the difference that our compassionate and knowledgeable nurses make in the lives of our patients, and we want to ensure there are enough future professionals to care for the growing population of dialysis patients. We were especially excited to meet 300+ nursing professionals in our exhibit hall booth.
The 2024 ANNA Symposium was informative and enriching. CNO Sara Brady and the IRC team were pleased to connect and collaborate during this successful industry event.
