Types of Dialysis Treatments
There are four kidney failure treatment options. Your dialysis care team will help you determine which dialysis options are right for you.
In-Center Hemodialysis
In-Center Hemodialysis
When you first arrive, you’ll be greeted at the front desk to check in. Then, a clinical staff member will escort you into the treatment room to get you ready for your treatment.
Peritoneal Dialysis (PD)
Peritoneal Dialysis (PD)
If you or a loved one are living with chronic kidney disease or kidney failure, peritoneal dialysis may be an excellent treatment option for you. This type of dialysis offers an alternative to traditional hemodialysis.
Home Hemodialysis
Home Hemodialysis
Home dialysis is a convenient and flexible alternative to in-center dialysis treatments, eliminating the need to travel to and from the dialysis center several times weekly.
Nocturnal Dialysis
Nocturnal Dialysis
Nocturnal dialysis is a treatment done at night while you sleep. It can be done in the comfort of your own home or overnight at a dialysis center.

Frequently Asked Questions
Whether you’re new to dialysis or have new questions, we’re here to help. These are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive.
Just FANTASTIC! I’m a new patient and was surprised at how clean, organized and on schedule everything is. The Doctor, Social Worker, Dietitian and most importantly, the Nursing Staff and Technicians are compassionate care givers who follow strict procedures.
They saved my dad’s life… the staff is fantastic, they build great relationships…
Excellent place. My dad has been going to this dialysis facility for 15 years. The staff is very nice and helpful.
I am on dialysis… None of that matters when I am skiing down Blue Ox, Gandy Dancer, or in the Back Bowls… I have also lived with kidney disease for 42 years… For anyone out there living with kidney disease who thinks their best days are behind them, they are not. Find the right team. Find the right center. And get back out there.
Warm and inviting place — staff are very friendly and caring. I was scared since it was my first time, but one of the nurses reassured me everything was going to be okay. I felt safe, and now I’m comfortable every time I come in. Great job, Innovative Renal Care Hammond Dialysis Clinic.
I’ve been here for 4 years and 7 months. My angels (nurses, technician, and my renal doctor, Touky) are the best. I’m blessed to have them in this process.
Have been at Atlantic before my transplant and after, when there were complications. Both times I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, making the long hours of dialysis go by smoothly. Would definitely recommend this facility.
